Posting BBCode - Tables

Hi everyone.

Does anyone know how I should be posting BBCode into a thread?

I'd like to insert a table (comparing specs of a bike model over the years in this case) and although I believe I should be surrounding my text in codes (as found here: https://www.bbcode.org/examples/?id=14) I can't get it to work; Unlike in that URL example, I just get the literals and they are not treated as tags. The option "Disable BBCode" is cleared.

you can use an image hosting site thike imgur. upload them onto thier site then generate image codes and copy and paste the bb code in the message box on here

Thanks Paul - but I'm not sure what you mean by "upload them". I'm looking to insert a table (rows, columns) into a post, not pictures.

No, but thanks for your suggestions Paul.
It would seem that the forum post editor can only accept a limited subset of BBCode - and so it is what it is. As you say, I could turn a table into a picture, upload it to a host and then post a url, but it's more of a faff than it's worth.
