Has anybody sent a bike frame overseas ?

Did you use the post office or a courier ?

What kind of cost was involved and was it recorded delivery at the other end ?

I have just sold a 531 frame. The buyer has zero feedback and lives in Singapore.

I estimated overseas price at about 50 quid in the listing, but stated it was just an estimate and would need to be properly quoted.

Guy paid by Paypal no probs, but just looked at International signed for size restrictions and not sure the frame won't be too big.

Some advice would be cool please on who to use etc.

I'd say tough tittys. He won, he can pay. Depends what a bast you want to be, but make sure you send it fully insured and take plenty of photos pre, during and post packaging.

I would suggest UPS or some such and absolutely signed, recorded and tracked.

Just read that you guestimated £50 to send it. Whoops
