the highlands can be more problematic for postage....

I all depends on whether it is classed as "highlands and islands" by the carrier. If so there is often a hefty increase. I sent a frame to the Isle of Man which cost £18 when it would normally have cost £9 by the same company on Mainland UK. They classified it along with the upper regions and islands of Scotland.

You need to check with your postcode on some courier web sites

I have never had a problem with Royal Mail for postage.

Well, tell a lie......a set of forks didnt make it to the buyer, but as I had put my 'sender' name/address they came back to me and I re-sent.

inverness is the highlands so north of it will be more expensive for sure,price you pay for living in such a beautiful part of the world
