Its not a 99 though, look at the cable routing

top tube decal is from a 99 Hei Hei, but the down tube decal is from a 99 King Kahuna (orange gives it away)

That would be my choice too... The bike doesn't need quarantine as the dog will be difficult. Don't think they let 'm in without that...

...or perhaps he also has a bag for the dog to go with..? First disassemble it of course...

I'm so sorry, I was in too much of a hurry. I do think Hei Hei cable routing may be a movable feast (after all, your own 97 KK doesn't have the standard 97 routing, does it?), but I'm now not sure what this is so I'll change the title of the thread.

If the cable routing is to be believed, it's a 96 or earlier Kona, but we can't see the top of the seat tube, nor the dropouts, so it's impossible to know for sure. If it's a 96 Kona, it's a size 17 not an 18, but I wouldn't now advise anybody to bid without more evidence/better pictures.
