The time has finally come i may be selling the Pinnacle i've had from new.
Anyone have any thoughts as to value?

No idea on value as it is but you'd get a lot more if you're prepared to split it up and sell bits individually.

Incidentally I had a 91 20" Pinnacle in fire engine red, RC30s, XC Pro throughout etc. Completely immaculate. I sold it as a full bike for £300 in 1998

About £100,

hang on to it for me and i'll be there with the money first thing in the morning

Joking :D , don't know what it's worth TBH, very nice bike though, great spec too.

pinnacle

Pinnacles aren't in very high demand, my guess is it could go for 200 pounds as a complete bike.
But You could probably get 125 pounds for the crank by itself, as it looks to be in good shape. If you sold the frame by itself you might possible get 100 for it alone. The fork by itself might fetch a nice price also.

in general i tend to dislike splitting up bikes. but in this case i think it would be worth splitting up not only for financial reasons

if the seatpost is first generation its worth shitloads...
cooks $$$ (90GBP?)
pace 80GBP possibly?
the stem looks freaky! what is it? manitou bradbury?
regarding the frame you might get 120GBP for it if your lucky. saw 91 and 92 rascals selling for ~80GBP an ebay recently...
flite looks used. what year is it? (15GBP?)
brakes, pedals look like mid-90ees DX. cheap?
no clue about the wheelset...

thats nice - I'd like lots of those parts and the frame is really sweet. Lots of good advise above. Whole bike may fetch £250 - £300. Split it up and you'll make a bit more.
