Posh LBS shocker!

Was getting a bit desperate to locate the missing part for my USE post, to the point of ditching it all together, when I decided to phone the 'other' bike shop in Lincoln :shock:

I call it the 'other' shop because its all a bit fancy, and the staff are rude :x

But, I clearly got a new member of staf on the phone

'USE rebuild kit, blue preferred, hmmm, leave it with me an hour' he said......

So, I call in late PM and he greats me with a big cheesy grin :shock: 'Your gonna love me' he says, and produces an original rebuild kit all covered in dust, in blue 'Found this and a few other bits last week, tucked out the back'.

Anyway, even better, we get chatting and I mention the site. 'Oh yea, retrobike, what a great site' he says, and goes on to mention he's discovered a full XTR groupset and a mint Cadex out the back that the shop has already Ebay'd :shock: 'Them German's went mad for the XTR'.......I'm not surprised :roll:

nice to see they surprised you. yep those germans, whether its sun loungers in spain or xtr groupsets, you bet they'll hound it!

Your right.

I think I was initially put off with them waaaaay back when I first called them. I tried to book my bike in for a service, but getting a ballpark ££ off them, and booking a time to drop my bike off was clearly too hard for them :roll: Very, very rude.

I'm not changing my preferred LBS but I will use these guys again happily if my guys ever struggle
