This sweet bit of ass has been in my "To build" pile for a couple of years.
I couldn't really decide how I wanted to build it, kit/spec etc so I kept putting it to the back of the pile or another new project kept jumping the Q.

One or 2 other FUNK's seemed to appear on the build section, and then disappear again, So decided.. Lets get it owwwn... (can you see what I did there  )

After much stressing, arguing with myself, asking friends, and long slow walks in the country side kicking leaves, I decided the frame would get a refinish and dressed with 3DV and a dash of polished parts.

A quick thanks to Ian racer-x for the 3DV, and Gil_m for the decals.

For the number monkey's, she is a 1992 FUNK pro-comp with bonded cable stops and relived head tube.

The frame was refinished in straight gloss black by my powder coat guy who has done a cracking job.

Decals are by the hands of Gil who has done a fine job as ever 8)

I have an idea of what will take care of brake/shifting duties, and cranks so will add these as I get into the build.

First thing I did was strip the forks, original FUNK, still in perfect working order but a strip, grease, and rebuild always works wonders.

Once they were back together they received new decals, I would like to change the bolts for some 3DV, but they seem to have a funny thread cut, so I will keep looking into it

So here she is so far, only a mock up to start with, but it gives an idea of the direction.

I will update this one all the way to the end, lets see a finished FUNK for a change

Re:

No need for that mate, your builds are just as good.

Out of interest, do you know what front mech and seat tube size they take
