Yes but the USA is a lot richer, the richest country in the world. There isn't much of a social system like we have in Europe.

not such a bad thing, the resulting scores of ill fitting benefit handouts in this country have aided to demise and real reason for benefits. its too abused now and from the resulting 2nd world war system set up to help people get back on there feet , people now live there lifes off of it.

its a very sore point and many will find these threads upsetting.

imho, we spend way to much on coliding neutrons and sending rockets into space etc etc, we could have saved many countries and helped the world spending money more on looking after our own ,instead of looking into ways of destroying it or getting the ******* moon. who cares if theres water on mars????????????

Pretty sure none of them chose to live that way, tragic, and I know every country has poor including us but this phrase is key...

The fact is almost 20million americans, half the poor, EARN less than £7000 a year for a family of 4

These families are working and they get paid less than those on benefits in this country. That is a one sorry socially inept nation. Makes me angry.
