Polished Race Face Prodigy 120mm stem & possibly 97 GT A

These were a real pain to do as the paint was a nightmare to remove and the alloy was shot-peened which took loads of prep to enable machine polishing. The cranks are square taper and a used but good (Shimano I think) BB is included. I had the stickers custom made which aint cheap either so I'm asking for £30 shipped for the cranks etc. Cranks are Iso-Flow 170mm with 68mm BB BTW. Threads and BB interfaces are perfect too. :-) Now SOLD

The barely used 100mm Race Face Ride OS stem is £12, shipped.

The other stuff includes 600mm polished flat bars - £20 shipped. I didn't polish the ends so the grips get a better hold and not because I'm lazy BTW. Now SOLD

PP gift would be sweet but you can pay standard PP as long as you pay the fees...

I'll probably be selling the bike in my signature too which is a 1997 GT Avalanche which was machine polished with all polished components. It took ages to do but I don't have time to use it and I'm struggling for space. The bike was set up with 1-7 gearing but I have the triple rings, an LX mech and SRAM shifter if you wanted a triple setup. (I preferred the look of the single alloy ring personally) I can set up a proper listing for it if anyones interested. I'd be looking for £250 + post for the bike.

Thanks for looking...

Oooooh....now that is some loveliness going on there.....I'm about to start building a GT s/s myself....are you in a busting hurry to sell or could you hang onto a few bits for me ?

Sorry I haven't been able to update the thread or respond to the PMs sooner. Something came up yesterday and I couldn't get online.

I will sort the PM's out now. :)

I'd rather sell as a complete bike as I can't be bothered with all the trips to the post office but there's no rush. I was just throwing it out there hence the lack of a more detailed 'for sale' thread. :)

where are you trailblazer and how much would you charge to polish a frame 8) 8)

I'm up near Newcastle Upon Tyne. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to polish any more frames for myself or anyone else. I did a few over the winter when I had some time on my hands and it kept me out of trouble but it's not really an option at the moment. :(

You could always get yourself a few (drill-mounted) polishing wheels, a bit of polishing compound, and try it out for yourself. It's not too difficult, really...
