Just a few bits and bobs that need clearing from the shed. All prices are posted, and for payment by PayPal gift.

LX cranks - £8 : Donated to someone
Very worn big ring. Each arm has lots of wear down one side. Cosmetically a bit nasty but functionally fine. Price reflects postage cost as much as anything.

Deore rear brake lever - £5 : SOLD
Some signs of wear but decent nick overall.

XT rear brake lever - £5 : SOLD
A little bit of up/down play but nothing too serious I don't think.

Hope Adapter to fit discs to non-disc frame - £27.50 : SOLD
Bought this off eBay but can't make it fit my LTS / Bontrager hubs. That may be due to my own incompetence, or possibly something to do with the fact that the instructions seem to relate to certain Hope hubs. I'm therefore making BIG photos available of the thing and it's instructions so that you can be clearer than I was about what you're purchasing. It's in very good condition. Priced to get back what I paid on eBay.

Rockshox rear shock 750lb Spring - £6 : SOLD
Came off a Super Deluxe and suitable I guess for anything with a 1.5" stroke length. Good condition, only removed because I'm a lightweight and 750lb is far too strong for me.

Saddle (Black / yellow patches) - £5 : SOLD
Rails straight and true. No rips or scuffs.

Silver Kalloy seatpost (26.4mm) - £5 : SOLD
No major problems. Pretty nondescript really.

Planet X stem (silver) - £6 : Used on another project
Good condition. 1 1/8", 90mm.

Hi - dibs on rear XT brake lever - any chance of a pic or model number just to be sure its the same as my RH one? :?: :?: :?: :?:

Oooooops - didn't see that there

Spot on - I'll take it - please pm postage details for this and the yellow seat :D :D :D :D :D

Re. Hope disc adaptor - what parts you've got seem to bear very little resemblance to the drawing...?

The drawing shows a one-piece mount and caliper arrangement, whereas what you have seems to provide a standard IS caliper mount. Is this correct or am I missing something ?

The photos show an adapter to use std calipers no3 or 5, on hope hubs.
The drawings show caliper no 2 being fitted, which uses a shortened hope hub axle and a lengthened hope skewer, with modified dust shields.
Idon't think either will work on non hope hubs.

Cheers guys. I have no idea what's going on with the Hope adapter, to be honest. I wasn't sure whether I did indeed have a random bag of parts, or if I was just incompetent with technical drawings. It was advertised on eBay with no mention of the restrictions / fittings so I'm a bit peeved that I've ended up with it and it's effectively useless to me! Hence I've included big photos here because I want anyone considering it to be totally clear on what they're getting.

So are we saying that the instructions are irrelevant?

And the "std calipders no3 or 5", are they a Hope-specific standard, or should any normal caliper go on as long as it's a Hope hub? I appreciate that you're all forming opinions just off a couple of photos which isn't ideal, but any advice is much appreciated as I'm clueless.

Hope Adapter to fit discs to non-disc frame - £27.50

I'll take it. I know how these work and i used on on a LTS so if you want to use it i can help or i'll buy it. I use to work for Hope and now ride for them. Joys of family

It's an ISO mount you have which can work on any frame.

The manual you showed is shown using a C2 or Sport caliper thats ment for mounting on the dummy axle and part of the current hub axle. In all honesty the ISO is better.

I really want this by the way!! LOL
