Please reccomend a courier to Australia!

Hi all,

I know it's been a long time since I was last on here, but I did not know where else to ask.

Can anyone reccomend a courier to Australia?

I have a touring bike for sale on ebay and someone asked for a postage quote. I am familiar with getting smaller stuff abroad but this bike is huge and the only quote I have is £150-£240!!!

That's not a quote, it's a range. The lower end seems very reasonable to me, the higher end about what I would expect.

Oh I should have been more specific in my writing then, the quote is £150 for the shipping route of about 40 days and the £240 is via 2 day airmail.

So are those costs reasonable then?

It seems a huge amount to me but I don't have experience with shipping such large items to Oz.

Can you reccomend someone for shipping to Australia then? I don't even know of any names of couriers for this size item.

I've only done the other way, from NZ to the UK, and they were friends of mine.

Saying that did a quick Google and found this which gave a few alternative quotes:

On a very rough idea of size and weight prices ranged from £60 ish to mid £100's so worth having a look. One of the companies was DHL so can't be too bad.
