Since I had the early syncros, it is not one of them The U part is much, much thinner than the one you have there, plus it would have the 'hole in it' at the other end. But I cannot see through the frame.

but the top part of the clamp is an exact copy of the other early syncros i have,...and there is no hole at the bottom end,..

May be mine was the one in between them then, mine was from around 1991/92 and was no where near as chunky as that.

I recognize it, but can't quite put my finger on it at the moment. I remember seeing one back in the 90s and thinking USE, but it wasn't..
