Every house I have bought and lived in has started as a wreck - including the current one for those that have been round. Get the satisfaction out of buying it cheap and doing it up. In a couple of months we are moving into our newly built bungalow that we have had especially built to our design so it will make a change from living on a building site for the first 2 years after moving in.
