Placement of cyclocomputer

Just wondering what everyone thinks looks best and / or is most authentic...

I'm discounting 4. On the fork (like Fignon) because few (if any) new devices can be fitted there.

Thanks for reminding me, I have an Avocet to fit :roll: On the bike , silly !

All of mine are on the bars, although I like the look of the stem mounted one, if not the rider! :evil:

The last option may look good on a newer bike, but wouldn't put one on a 'proper' bike!

Mind you, both winter and summer steeds are steel Super U frames

Do the fork if you can, but how would you mount it?

"...most authentic..." for 80s and 90s would be to the side of the stem, mounted to the bars. Can't remember ever fitting one to any other location in that period.

I had a "tri sport" Cyclocomputer and a cateye cc6000 that had an offset mount that fixed to the bar but ended up with the computer over the stem.

I think I'll go with on the stem. Out front seems a bit odd if the rest of the handlebars are clear of clutter (lights etc)

My Cateye Strada is on the stem and looks quite neat
