Hi

does anyone know of a good photographic website Inc member forum with a community like our own RB.

Thanks

Aye- I've found the digital photograohy review to be very good too.......unfortunately, still no help with a "RetroPHOTO" type forum :P
It's quite hard to find a busy yet fairly small forum like RB, where you kind of know everyone and can read most threads.

couldn't tell you about forums, but this is one of my fave photo places to be.

I like their ethos a lot. (not so sure about the disclaimer you have to sign)

They give a brief and you submit pics and vote and be voted on. It's a nice community with some great photographers.

Cheers guys, just going to purchase a digital slr and trying to do some ground work.

Unless one of you guys has a 6mp dslr that you want to part with

I've been having a look at DSLRs myself, but I can't get over just how bulky they all seem to be.

My Minolta Dynax 505 has 2 gaps inside for a film cartridge and the winding spool and has a motordrive...

...and it's still a damn sight more compact than the DSLRs in Currys which don't even need to contain film or a motordrive...
