Having a clearout and bikes I don't ride enough have got to go as I just don't have any room to store them, except under tarpaulin.
This Peugeot dates from around 93 or earlier I think and it's quite a light bike with the 531 tubing. The same style as the bike in this thread ( http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... sc&start=0 ) - but obviously a few rungs down the ladder. The previous owner was a bit of a Fred Salmon fan (he used to race these bikes I believe) as can be seen by the badges on the stem and the end caps on the bars and bar-ends
18"c-c frame, Nexus & Altus hubs, 400LX chainset, Alivio rear Mech, 500LX front mech and 700CX shifters/levers, Tourney-22 brakes, 3TTT stem, unusual Peugeot handlebar, Mavic Oxygen M6 rims, Wolber Chamonix and Michelin Chamonix tyres.
I'll even throw in the bar-end tape at no extra cost.
I've used it as a pub/shop bike. It runs well and everything works, but the paintwork is a bit tatty (no serious stuff) and it could do with a good clean of all the bits.
A good runaround or project for someone.
£45 collected from Cardiff (or will deliver up to 20 miles, or meet to handover this side of the Severn bridge).
