Peugeot Explorer 10? anyone know anything about them?

hey guys. right I've been looking for a couple months now for a little project that I can use for light off road use (mainly woodland paths/trails so nothing majorly demanding) and with a very limited budget it's been difficult to find anything to say the least

well I have just been offered a Peugeot explorer 10 for £20 and wondered if anyone knew anything about them. Ive got a picture and from what I can see its got gripshift but can't see how many gears(I thought maybe 10 speed was the reason behind the explorer 10 name but there was one for sale with 18 gears so Im not sure)

I don't care about it being rubbish spec etc, (my giant was rubbish spec but I loved taking that down the woods) just wondered if it was worth a punt at £20, or would it be a mistake buying it.

cheers...oh and its the same as this frame just red.

I know it won't be anything special but like I say my old giant stonebreaker was as basic as they come and always had the mick taken out of it but I absolutely loved it. (so much I bought another giant - GSR400)

I don't care about spec for the sort of riding I do, the worse the spec the more fun the challenge  . But was just wondering if anyone had ever owned one or heard of them because until now I'd never heard of it and google doesnt seem to give much away.

can't get out of cornwall at the moment sorry. and literally have got £25 so was looking for a cheap, bargain basement bike. shame as really like that surfer. As soon as I manage to get another job and some more money coming in I'll be looking at higher spec bikes (fingers crossed - I have an interview on wednesday)

Ironically just been offered a specialized rockhopper in mint condition. although Im waiting for a reply on price as Im guessing he didn't see the bit that said I only have £25.

anyone ever noticed all the bargains come up when you're not looking but when you are, there's nothing around. I believe that's known as sod's law.
