Neither did I until about 2 years ago as thats when I first thought about getting a PX10 so I did loads of research on the web to find out about them & finally bought a PX10 frame with nervex lugs, got it resprayed & fitted new decals & then researched what parts (groupset) the Peugeot team of Simpson & Merckx used back then. Its just a learning curve once you have decided what frame to start with & what Pro team used them.
I've got this frame but I'm still not sure what model it is. A Pro-10 or a PY-10?? (it is an ex team bike 100% sure of that) & I know what rider it was built for (his name is is on the fork steerer tube) someone told me on the FB Peugeot page about the name being there & explained the Frame number coding as well. Judging by the weight of it I think it might be Reynolds 753 & it has a 27mm seat post?
Hope that is of some help to you. Sorry for rambling on.

Chris

The 753 ones they did are fantastic frames to ride, this is my 89 team rep.

Also going against what was said above ( :) ) I also have a 88 501 Triathlon that I restored that I use in the winter again its a fantastic frame to ride. A lot of people don't bother with 501 but imho they to can be great frames

Fabulous looking bikes mate! 8)

I had a 531 back in 1990, yellow and purple, my first proper bike, with RX100 g/s. It broke at the bb/seat tube joint. Got a warranty replacement, pink and pearl white, that too broke in the same place. Gave up on them after that
