I've just acquired this lovely super lightweight 531 frameset and cant find any information on it. The paint is pretty immaculate and I think it may have been repainted with fresh decals added. Most of the frame had clear tape protecting it...the paint might be original?...who knows?! I think the frame number is Y2065291. Any ideas?😁

If memory serves 531 Special Lightweight only lasted a couple of years before morphing into Pro. 1977-79 rings a bell but could be way out.

Check the decal on Lloyd time line and look at the Peugeot catalogues for that time?

After looking very closely I'm 99% sure it's been powder coated. It does look identical to a Peugeot Optimum but sure it could be several different models...I doubt theres any way of dating from the frame number after doing some reading
