Peter grisley orion 5

Hi folks just became a member today and was wondering does any body know any thing on Peter Grisley orion5. I was given this bike in 1993-94 by my uncle who bought it and didnt like it. I know the bike is nearly 20yrs old. The frame is made from 5086 aircraft alumimium.

I have one, they're made in Spain and designed by Peter Grisley an American. The Spanish parent company reckoned it would get more street cred in the mtb market if it had an american designer. They're rare in the UK but quite common in Spain/Europe and the Spanish speaking world. Nicely made frames, very stiff if you like that frame type but can be quite jarring to ride if you dont. Work best with a suspension fork to counter the stiffness. Orion 5's are at the bottom of the pecking order with lower end groupsets but are very upgradeable
