Pet insurance

I have to say don't bother. Put about £1000 in a bank account, and save it for canine emergencies.

I worked it out, and Lucky has consistently cost less in vets bills than I'd have paid in insurance premiums. Bless him. 8)

I've never bothered.
Poppy is now 16, aching joints, short on breath, old age.

In all her time I've spent no more than £250 on Vets and medicine.

I would take Chris' advice too and set some money aside.

But, you might want to consider 3rd party insurance, if your dog damages property/person causes an accident etc

Avoid "More Than". You will forever be bombarded with offers by post, Email and telephone.
Sainsburys is pretty good appArently.

Sainsburys are good, had my moggys insured with them for 3/4 years now with no problems, seems reasonable price wise.

I wouldn't be without pet insurance.

It has saved me loads!!

Try one vet bill for one of our cats at 1400 quid!

we use www.petplan.co.uk/ for our mob! :D

Ditto. Some breeds are pretty much guaranteed to need expensive maintenance (depending on milage ) - our springer would have cost us a small fortune.
