If I received an unsolicited email requesting my support for a good cause I would consider it spam. So please don't PM me to support your good causes (no matter how worthy they are) - this is spamming. Just because you frequent the same forum as I do does not mean that you know me.

By all means plug your fundraising with a sig line link(I've got one of those plugging my 'worthy' cause - if anyone clicks through great if they don't no problem I won't lose any sleep over it) or a topic in this forum. Then I can take it or leave it.

Am I alone in thinking this?

I have more money than I know what to do with - unfortunately its all owed to somebody else who seems to have a better idea than I do.

Now that really gets my goat.

I've never ever asked anyone via PM to vote for my bike/pic, nor would I ever consider it.

Although it's all a part of the game I guess, maybe I should do it I might win a competition then!

If someone did PM me asking to vote for theirs, I would be inclined not to vote for them
