Period saddles

Thanks for all the suggestions people.
I think the frame is an mid 80s from what I can tell. I also like the rolls I have one on a Roy Thame and its a really comfy ride. I'm heading towards a White turbo I think as it will go with the colour scheme for the frame and if it was good enough for Laurent Fignon, Bernard Hinault, Greg Lemond I'm sure its good enough for me

And just found a white Roll on ebay too oh well bit late now I've gone a got a Turbo

though I always think the rolls is later 80s and suits the later groups better.
''The Badger'' rode on a rolls in 1985 whilst in the team La Vie Claire.

Be wary of modern re-pop Turbo's! Some are leather and some are synthetic, leather version is the best but are about £40,
whereas synthetic saddle go for as low as £15 and for some reason all these creak but is cured by oil dropped into the black mouldings.

Thanks Ian it is a leather one
Got conned three years back! a guy selling modern turbo's cheap and said they was leather but later found out that they was synthetic.

You can find this out by looking under the saddle, forget now but it shows what the material covering is, trouble is its in Italian.
