There is a condition that make sprouts taste overly bitter to some and that's why I never eat the little buggers! Peas though are nice and i recently discovered the taste of Swede, Turnip and pumpkin is all pretty good, when it was all rancid cack when I was a kid .

My wife still hates Peas though.

only way i like peas, is with a smidgen of tomato sauce, on their own, i cant stand them.

I would never eat peas purely for the sake of it, but alongside a large battered cod and chips, or a piece of steak with mushrooms, yes.

Although I have made a pea puree from frozen peas into which I have nestled a piece of black pudding and some scallops. Fish, meat and veg, the triple.

i find peas quite unnecessary, not that i dont eat them theyre just random add ons :?
only some sprouts taste bitter to me
i dont really eat much fruit and veg but love my greens, especially brocolli with the 'bushy' end dipped in gravy, yum

Tinned marrowfat peas are the king of peas for me - perfect with fish & chips!
