Gonna buy some forks off pinkbike. I'm a little uneasy. Is there a safer way to send via paypal?
Any trusted members in Tunbridge wells that can help me out with transhipment ?[/b]

Use regular Paypal payment, not gift. You'll have to bump the total up a bit to take advantage of the guarantee. 3.7 or 4% IIRC.

Cheers guys, so what do i do if using 'goods' and item doesn't arrive? Does seller have to use a signed for service?

It's the seller's problem.

There have been some nasty cases on eBay of people paying by Paypal and then collecting in person. They then state that the seller never sent the goods and get a refund off Paypal - and the seller loses his PayPal payment.

Never thought of that one.
Mind you, if you pay by paypal for goods then the seller gets your address, no? I wouldn't be letting that one lie.

paypal protection is a joke, all the guy needs is a tracking number then he can do what he wants. Getting a tracking number then not sending something is a piece of pie, i even had one guy put in a tracking number that wasn't even related to my purchase yet paypal sided with him.

The tracking number was for an item being shipped to south africa, not to yorkshire but paypal didn't want to hear it.
