PAypal and Postage - what?

OK.... I'm an eBay vrigin, just sold my forks and have them all packed up and ready to send. Now Pay Pal won't release funds until I post them and has also asked me to pay the postage on there, why? Why can't I just go into the post office and do it the old fashioned way?

Will have to leave that till tomorrow now as my wages haven't gone in yet and then I need to find an internet cafe near work as my printer's suddenly decided to go on the flinkin blink! Why have things become more difficult?!

you dont need to pay the postage with ebay .

you should have all the money from the sale in your paypal account .

maybe it is different to new users ?

Strange, when I sell and get funds by paypal I sometimes have to accept it and otherwise it's on the account immediately. No such a thing with postage etc.
Just have to pay postage at the postaloffice.....
