pay cuts

Well if its any consolation i haven't been paid for six years  Be your own boss they all said

On a brighter side, lots of people I have been talking to are saying things are up the level again. My builder chums are busy again and my mortgage advisor friend is getting plenty of work, the shops are busy, the birds in the estate agents reccon that house prices are steady and they are getting a few back through the door. Its looking much better than three months ago.

Same here in California. Home prices have leveled out, and contracters are bidding again. Retail sales are slightly up too. Some of my clients have run out of inventory and are ordering again.

I was made redundant a few years back from a small company, the week after my boss added an ex Irish Airforce Bell Huey to his helicopter collection.

I wasn't too pleased.
