Paul's v brakes and brake booster??

Here are some pics of my set-up - all fairly straight forward really (but always good to add a few gratuitous purple shots ;) ) In terms of washers -I think the Gorillas came with two originally - to go next to the brakes; but I used to use one on either side of the booster to stop the bolt/tube chewing in to the alloy. The ones next to the canti just need to be small enough to fit inside (in the case on my HOs) the body without fouling.

If you fancy a Gorilla - there's one on the bay at the moment (albeit in silver) and failing that try giving Bache Brothers a ring (http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1638816) - was in there the other week and /think/ they had NOS ones. Could be mistaken but certainly worth ringing and asking - they're a nice bunch. :)

Thanks for the pics, really helpful! I'll start the search for bits, perhaps via bache brothers.

will alu do the job for this bolt?
I'm sure it will as its got an alu one now, though I guess when running a booster it will need a longer one.

ok mate, you're probably braver then I am

I found some booster mounting hardware here on the forum through a wanted add!

It's on the rear so I can't see it being a problem, as the braking force is not against the bolt. Ideally I'd like ti bolts in keeping with the rest of the bike, so ill probably go in that direction, unless this might also be seen as foolish?
