Patriot 3 shocks

There's a slim chance I may be gifted (or given permanent custody) of a Patriot 3 some time soon..

Think it's a '3'.. it's dark-ish grey, that's about all I remember (that and the roundel 'O' in the decals)..

Apparently the forks are piddling oil and the rear shock has no rebound..

Anyone impart some info on what year the '3' was, what the front and rear shocks are and whether it's worth having them serviced or better off being replaced?

patriot 3? :? do you mean the 3rd version of a patriot or do you mean "sub 3" the xc bike?

Jeebus I dunno.. seem to recall he called it a Patriot 3 when he bought it..

Probably about years old.. and not been ridden for 2-3 years and is like a battleship grey..

Oh.. the forks might be Manitou SX C's - Wife heard him mention it yesterday (when I obviously wasn't paying any attention :roll: )
