Passoni Titanio

I’d only change the saddle and tyres. Gorgeous Ti frameset that is set apart from the sandvik crowd. I’d drop 2.5k on that (money that is - not a weight from a great height )

I’ve seen some stunning framesets in my time but this is by quite some margin the sweetest ever, the details are incredible! #whysosmall

Re:

Sure a crazy amount of man hours went into these gorgeous works of art. 8) Curious to know how they ride as many of the early Ti frames were way too flexy.

Ride shmide, just look at it!

Re:

From what I’ve heard they are pretty flexy. Definitely not a racer, more for exploring the countryside in luxurious style. Or just coffee house posing. :)

Surely that’s all any of us are good for now too!

Speak for yourself  Nah, its a point well made about what these are realistically used for now. Owned and/or tried most of the iconic early Ti frames. There was not much variation available from suppliers back then of course. Plain std gauge Ti tubing made for a noodly ride, constantly breaking rear wheel traction on climbs ( you loose power and pedal efficiency) and terrifying frame wobble on fast descents. How a bike rides is paramount for me with aesthetics a close second. What a great conversation starter this would be though at any cyclists cafe.
