Quick question, what kind o f steel were Pashley Tandems made of. Just got a complete working but very tatty one. For the stunning sum of £5! It's not one of the super tourist mixte ones but one of the ones with an additional top tube and sloping to tube for stoker, no decals to say what it is or tube type. Does have 26 x 1&3/8" steel wheels, 2 centre pull brakes and a rear drum drag brake. I cannot decide if its just basic hiten tubing or something nicer. Either way it's being converted to a long tail cargo bike.
