Parts Exchange Database?

Gentlemen,

Just a thought.
Would it be a good idea to set up a parts exchange database?
I know I have lots of parts I'd be willing to exchange i.e English threaded headets for Italian or braze-on front mechs for band-on etc, etc.

Hi,

we did try a dedicated swap swction on the site a while back. It never quite worked sadly.

My suggestion is just to post a For Trade / For Swap advert in the road for sale section.

That said the database sounds vaguely interesting. What would you propose.
