Parts bin special - SS winter bike

The frame was originally from a donor bike for another build. It's a Bike Works, the Austrian version of Merlin Cycles. Any frame you want with a choice of components. This one had a full XT M737 groupset which I used on my Parkpre Ti build.

Deciding that I did not have a bike I would be comfortable riding through the winter filth I threw this lot together this afternoon. Been for a quick spin and I like it.

XTR M950 rear hub
Shocktech carbon front hub
Mavic X217 rims
Fat boy DH cranks
Surly stainless steel chainring with steel chainring bolts
Azonics double wall handlebars
Onza Ules grips
Xlite top cap
Avid single digit 7 brakes
Traditional 32-16 gearing

And here it is in action. Really like the ride but the front does feel very low. The back end is so stiff there is no chance of losing action. Have changed the seatpost and stem siince the original build. Also now features an MBI (Mountain Biker International magazine) crud catcher.
