I think (or thought after this investigation) that I've bought a Panasonic top-liner from '88; a Panasonic MC 7500.
Green flags being:
a serial code in de headtube,
a 22" frame what was available in those days,
all the common cable guidances
a paint/decal job that seems legit.
Red flags:
a non-chromed chain stay,
a different type of Tange sticker,
screwholes in de front fork for attaching racks
but most of all the dynamo provision on the left seat stay!
The Shimano stuff is present but from a lower standard than the M730 that was originally fitted; Exage Mountain hubs, brakes and derailleurs, DX thumb shifters.
What have I bought?
