Cleaned up and restored (with a little help from a decal set from Gill) - attached snap shows my:
18" Raleigh MT1000 recently imported from a nice fellow retrobiker in Spain
19" Orange VitT2 in the middle
20" Raleigh MT1000 restored over the Xmas hols.
All 3 are similar designs with the wishbone rear stays and I look forward to building them in future one at a time to compare the riding characteristics.
Some nice period Tioga suspension forks wouldn't go a miss - and a disc drive wheel has to be a wish list item on one of these, 'before' picture also attached - the 18" wasn't in bad shape, just the stickers were a bit worn and it benefitted from a deep clean before fitting a new set. The 20" is my size being a 6'er, but the proportions of the 18" make it a nice looking mountain bike (as is usually the case IMO).
TOP Pic - BEFORE, still in original trim
BOTTOM Pic - AFTER, deep cleaned and a set of Gill's reproduction decals fitted
