As seen in my post here......

http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... ba8fc57db2

I have a pair of spins for sale, the bearings front and back have been replaced since I got them and I have been using them daily for my 25mile commute to work.

As you can see from the pic's previous owners have not really understood how the hubs work so they have plenty of 'battle scars' but these are only superficial.

The rear wheel is true however the front is not, check out the videos here....

I'm looking for £190 posted for these beauties (of beasts if you don't like Spins!) SOLD

no not a chance!

There is the old wives tale about popping them in a freezer, but I don't know anyone with a walk in freezer.

I bought some new ones over the weekend but if I hadn't I would have gone for the one's on fleBay which have a true front wheel but funked rear.....

Wasn't sure about the pricing so I have reduced them from £190 to £160 posted.
:D
There was afront listed on here a couple of weeks ago but I can't remember who had it!

I'm wondering if miss aligned bearings adds to the buckling of the wheel. The spins are pretty strong so they must take some force to knock then out of true.
Does anyone have any experiance with them?

Yes it is easy to change them and you can pick up new ones for around £9 on fleaBay but could the bears be the cause of the movement?
