Pace Triple Clamps?

Retro Newbie
Hello, new to the forum and seemingly much younger than a lot of it's current members! I consider 2005 old kit haha

Anyway, my friend has stopped biking, and his dad passed these forks down to him a number of years ago, they came off a specialized FSR (red IIRC). He has now given them to me, for a measly sum of £10 and now I am looking to sell them on.

All i know is that they are Pace, and have seen better days. They have carbon lowers, maybe just an outer carbon bit. I just want to know a bit more about them, as they are very interesting looking forks, and most importantly how much they are worth? They will need some looking after, but structurally they seem sound apart from that dodgy bit at the top of the left stanchion where it seems to have slipped down :S

Anyway, any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time!

Tim

First off, forum rules are to post price requests in the "how much is my XYZ worth" thread

That aside.

They are RC150 Monsters.
date from late 1997 onwards until about 2000 iirc. they are carbon lowers.

Price wise unless they are mint they dont tend to fetch a great deal, tripple clamps in general dont tend to appeal to the retro scene to the same degree as more XC orientated forks.

They do pop up on ebay occaisionally.

For a look at how they should look...check out my RC500 in my signature.

Terribly sorry, it was a thread to gain information with a view to sell, not just a simple valuation thing.
I might try for £70 for them and see what happens.

The disc tab is on the left, but photo booth flips the images so everything looks backwards unfortunately.
