Pace RC36 Proclass: SOLD

For sale Pace RC36 proclass fork, 1,1/8" aluminum steerer, 180mm, the gold stanchions are in very good condition the overall condition i would describe as very good condition ( 90%) they have been used and do have a few marks on them but the carbon on the legs and on the braces is perfect. i bought these forks about two years ago for a project that never happened, i am looking for £125 posted, thanks for looking,

Grrrr i love em, i would definately have em if they were just a 1'' steerer, i cant find any :cry:

The steerer on these can be quite easily changed from 1 1/8" to 1"

I think that you can get a reducing shim for the crown ?

How i thought there pressed in? if so is it Pace that do it?

The steerer tube is clamped in on this model by 2 bolts.
These bolts just require loosening and then the steerer pushes out.

yeah the pre hollowform pace forks had clamped steerers, you can get a shim to reduce it to 1", speak to tim (justbackdated- ex pace man & servicer of all things of a retro-pace-y flavour) on these forums and he will be able to sort you out with a shim and a steerer.
