One Pace RC36 Evo fork for a new home. Have to measure steerer and make sure whether its 1" or 1 1/8", fairly sure the latter....will add by tomorrow.

Lacking some decals but works fine.

Thinking 85 posted (or would consider 165mm rear shock as trade...) and it looks like so:

Very good questions......I am not where the fork is unfortunately so steerer length I can post by Monday, but I might have to take them down the LBS to check whether they're 1 1/8" or 1".

I have run them on a Rockhopper in a 1 1/8 head tube, but did have an issue where I had to put a few laps of cut up coke can between the steerer tube and the crown race to make it sit tight. But the steerer is the same width all the way down, i.e. doesn't have a protruding bump on the end for the crown race to sit on. Might have been that which was the issue and it still be a 1 1/8 steerer, but I'll take it to the LBS to measure/make sure....

Now there's the idea. Beings I have run this fork with a standard 1 1/8 stem I suppose that seals it. Or would the stem grip a 1" steerer properly too?

Do you know what rated springs are in these forks? I think they came with medium as standard but would be especially interested if they are hard.

I have a fol float rl rear shock i could trade but would need the forks to have a minimum 215mm steerer....

I don't know for sure what springs are in there, but judging from riding it I would say medium rather than hard. They were right for me at 77 kg's, so probably a bit soft if you really want hard. I'll get to measure the steerer at latest tomorrow morning, but guessing it should be long enough for what its worth....

OK, steerer is 189mm.......would prefer money now though, as the shock upgrade tactic has changed to 150mm coil.....
