To anyone who is after elastomers for early pace forks.

i spent a while looking on here and the net for new ones with no luck.

Just spoke with Pace directly they still sell them for £35 and will have some new ones tommorrow. looking forward to getting them in.

I bought 92 ish Aluminium O from ebay and am going to rebuild it all.

its in exceelnt condition really just needs a good clean and service. even has original Specialzed Ground control /s tyres on!!

If you talk to Tim (justbackdated on this forum), he has a selection of spares from just about every Pace fork made. I suggest that you might find the elastomers being less to buy from him rather than Pace themselves. He's an ex-Pace employee and a sound chap 8)

forks

well, ordered now and lesson learnt ;o)

just thought id share how helpful the woman at pace was an the fact they still keep all the fork spares in stock going back to the RC35's i have.

just keep tim in mind for any future parts and services. he's helped me out with elastomers and a couple of different braces too.

he also services pace forks so its a handy username to remember

cool cheers, was gonna have a go myself she said she would put in some instructions.

the last pair of forks i had in bits were manitou 2's!

they are easy to do - just one bolt in the bottom of each leg. just go easy on the bolts and make sure the allen key is fully inserted (tap it in with a hammer) the bolt is alloy but machined so difficult to replace!
