I advertised this on here the other week and had a lot of interest but hadn`t got any photos, than managed to post photos of my motorbike by mistake, Anyway, here it is:
To recap, it`s an F3 I think, 18", 1" headtube, I`ve owned it at a guess 10-12 years, and I have never ever ridden it offroad, I always buy nice stuff and I bought it purely to ride to work on. (I live on small island so nowhere to ride it offroad anyway)
It has never had any repairs to it, the reason it is painted white is it was originally annodised red, which over time had faded to pink, so in 2003 I stripped it down, sent it to Pace in Yorkshire to have it reannodised red. However by the time Pace got it I had decided to have it painted white to be a bit different, (I think I had seen a OnOne Inbred in white which looked good), so Pace checked it all over and subcontracted out the paint job to Argos Cycles and supplied them with a set of current decals. Somewhere I have the receipts from Pace and Argos to verify this.
The paint is scratched and chipped in places after 5 years of being used on and off to ride to work, I have touched it up in the past but to be honest I would have it totally stripped and refurbed again by Argos as last time it looked superb. The only thing I can fault on it is usual chainsuck scars on chainstay behind chainset but cannot be seen when chainset fitted.
The reason it is for sale is my dad rode it and was so impressed with it he bought a brand new gunmetal RC200F6 frame in late 90`s, intending to build up but has never got round to it, and I have finally persuaded him to let me have it, hence my F3 is surplus. I want £200 for it, any less and to be honest I`ll keep it and hang it on the wall.
buyer of frame also gets 1st refusal on a pair of carbon 1" RC31 forks to fit the frame for £70, and a excellent condition Syncros Hardcore 1" sealed Aheadset for £30, if required.
