Pace rc200 f3

Hehehe, yeah, you're right Betsy, although I did have an 18" Cinder Cone BITD when I was the same size (but skinnier). That had quite a bit of post sticking out, but not loads.
The 18" Dynatech Mission I sold on here was too small. Oh well, but at least that's £6-800 saved I suppose! I'd still like to swing a leg over it!

My cunning plan paid off ;)

I'll probably have a bid but i'm not sure i'd even stretch that far, i only want the frame.

I'd def go and check it out if it was 30mins away

I had a stab at £565 knowing it's a tad too small and it would go for more. It did - £665. I hope we get a 'big reveal' and revival thread on here by someone!

I had a bit of a monday hangover and was nodding off watching CH4 news.. i just couldn't be arsed to bid, everything felt like a major effort so i went to bed early, i don't regret it.. the hangover or missing the end of the auction ☺️

so i pulled the trigger and took the plunge on this one, and for a lot leas than the £1350 they wanted, less than half that actually and i still feel i paid too much! well having said that actually it’s a nice frame, few chips here and there but solid enough, as for the rest of it, what can i say, although the Royce BB Is present it is virtually seized, the cranks although M900 are some of the most dullest oxidised examples I've ever seen and this also goes for the Maguras, although with the Maguras i feel i may see what a bit of wire wool might accomplish. It will need maguras as it only has magura mounts on the seat stays and nothing for cantis
In the original ad i was curious as to why there looked to be so little travel on the forks, my question was answered as soon as i unboxed it and i could slide the legs up and down without so much of a hint of resistence, a strip down later that evening revealed there was not much left of the elastomers apart from a pile of dust. Although the paintjob on the bike seems fine apart from a few chips here and there, the same cant be said for the fork crown and brace, someones sprayed them in the past and the finish has gone really dull, beyond matt look, oh and there was some weird ancient looking ahead type rod through the steerer
