PACE RC200 F3 Seatpost size

Hello im just thinking about getting a pace rc200 f3 1993 frame any one know the seatpost size also would a 29.0 seatpost fit :?:

Anyone have this bike any help

I'm pretty sure mine's a '93 too, and it's 29.4 IIRC..

Hope so this post i have is a 29.0 i have will that post work :?: On them f3 frames the clamps come off will it clamp up i could always put some tape at the bottom of the seatpost that goes into the frame so it dont rock about

Don't even think about it.

Pace frames are notorious for snapping due to seatposts flopping around.

Clamping system is also a PITA even WITH the right size seatpost - and will need some liquid gasket sealant on the contact surfaces to stop it rattling.

It's a Pace. You don't bodge them. It will end in tears.
