Bikes are hard to shift atm full stop. I guess this falls in to the very nice but expensive for most of us and not special enough for the big spenders?

Exactly this. Plus the spec is all over the place too so would need money spending to make it nice

I’m trying to convince the seller he wants to sell this one (to me) for considerably less than the starting price. Love the spec but not many ‘superbike’ components, and as @Once A Hero says it’s not ready to ride.

Not sure I’m making much progress, mind.
