I have always dreamt of owning a PACE RC200 and I purchased this bike seven years ago and have enjoyed riding it only a few times as it is slightly too small for me [197cm], despite being the largest frame size PACE made in this range.
The ultra rare dark green anodised frame finish was a limited colour way reserved only for the PACE race team. I understand this was restricted to a very small number of bikes which makes this even more desirable.
The PACE RC200 mountain bike is a vintage 1990's model designed for off-road racing. The dark green coloured anodised aluminium frame is incredibly light and stiff and comes with the original Pace RC35 carbon front suspension forks. The bike has the original 24-speed Shimano XT groupset with Grip Shift shifters along with upgraded brakes, this mountain bike offers an incredibly responsive and fast ride.
The stem is the original aluminium Control Tech with Renthal RC130 bars. The rims are Mavic with titanium Hope hubs.
I purchased this bike from a bike shop as second hand. You will note there are some minor marks to the frame as illustrated in the final four photos. These marks are purely cosmetic from where the bike has rubbed against cables and mud guard fittings installed by a previous owner.
This is a cracking bike and an amazing opportunity to own a piece of British bike engineering history!
