For sale is an 18” (C-to-T) 15.5” (C-to-C) Pace RC100. Frame in good shape with original paint and decals. All threads good, no cracks or suspicions of cracks. New hose guides fitted.
* Original fluoro yellow Pace RC30 forks. Reynolds 531 legs with Magura mounts. Original black anodised crown with minor cable rub. Minor chips and slight fading to legs.
* Bullseye cranks with Suntour Powershift chainrings. Includes brand new press-fit bearings. No cracks or dents. Original fluoro yellow paint is faded and worn.
* Pace one-piece stem/steerer. Original paint in faded fluoro yellow.
* Suntour XC-Pro Greaseguard hubs laced to dark anodised Mavic 231 CD front and rear rims. Rear wheel correctly dished for RC100 frame. 7-speed cassette. Slight wear to braking surfaces.
* Suntour XC-Pro rear mech and thumbies, XC-Pro front bolt-on front mech.
* Suntour XC-Pro seat post and reissue black Turbo saddle. Black Suntour seatpost skewer.
* Magura ‘Mountain’ Hydrostop brakes front & rear with correct Pace-machined bar clamps and original rectangular frame mounts. Working order with no leaks.
* Titanium shimmed bars. Legend has it that some RC100s came equipped with Merlin bars. I couldn’t say if these are or not. But who knows?
* Foam grips. Not sure if they are Grab-On but look suitably old whilst still being useable.
* Specialized Ground Control tyres. Decent tread but one tyre marked on one side by a maladjusted brake block.
A rare survivor-condition Pace RC100, complete and in full working order. Looking for £1850.
Would prefer collection - that way there is no risk of damage by a careless courier and you can be sure of what you are getting.
