Adrian from Pace is away till early next week, but I will see him on Thursday night, I'll ask him for a bit more info if you want.

Had one of the lads from the factory round last night saying he thinks it might have been one of the original early RC100's but can't see that unless it has a rear mech hanger on it as well, think the trials frame is more likely.

I'll let you know what Adrian says

if you could ask him, that would be great , thanks :D , i cant wait for his thoughts, and it definately not got hangers for any mechs at all, once again thanks, Chris. :)

HERES MY THOUGHTS..... THIS BIKE IS DEFINATELY PACE, PROBABLY FROM AROUND '89 AND PUT TOGETHER BY DUNCAN MACDONALD WHO WAS THE ORIGINAL PARTNER ALONG SIDE ADRIAN CARTER. ITS OBVIOUSLY A TRIALS BIKE, BUILT WITH A PACE TUBESET (HENCE THE RC-100 RESEMBLENCE) WITH NO PROVISION FOR MECHS. DUNCAN WAS THE DESIGNER / FABRICATOR AND ADRIAN WAS THE SALES & MARKETING GUY AND BECAUSE OF HIS INVOLMENT IN MTB RACING WAS THE SOUND BOARD FOR DUNCAN. IF YOU LOOK AT THE FAMOUS DPD (DUNCANS PURPLE DECENDER) FROM AROUND '92, YOU WILL SEE A LOT OF RESEMBLANCE TO YOUR FORKS ALTHOUGH THEY WERE SUSPENSION, THEY ARE BOTH DUAL CROWN.

THE REASON I SAY AROUND '89, IS IF YOU LOOK AT YOUR PICTURES, PACE HADN'T YET MADE THE ONE PIECE STEM AND THERE HUBS... YOURS ARE RUNNING BULLSEYE AND A SHORTENED QUILL STEM. THEY DIDN'T MAKE THE FIRST PRODUCTION RUN OF RC-100'S UNTIL LATE '89 SO YOUR BIKE I'M GUESSING WAS SLIGHTLY PRIOR TO THAT.

HOPE THIS HELPS.....

thanks for that, so it is quite a rare find then, im going to clean it up a bit next year, new paint on the forks and stem, cheers :D
