Just to point out though it is a forum rule that all adverts must have a price. That said you should have received a registration of interest from me via PM.

i think jerky has already reminded the seller of the rules.
this was bound to create a bit of a frenzy.
i'm sure if i didnt have one and had the funds, i'd do almost anything to own one.
that said, yes all adverts should have a price.

Personally I'd expect better of certain users than to second guess and slander others, it isn't a nice character trait to reveal and it saddens me to see it.

What's hilarious is when someone rants and casts aspersions. The seller has been reminded by at least me, both in this thread and via PM.
Of the two people to have stated that they had sent PM's, Daveyla, although a long registered user, judging by the limited post count, he probably isn't the sort of folk

Now for your information the PM I sent requested photos to be sent and an idea of price. No offer was made. This was sent as a private message as I would like my email address to remain off of publicly viewable threads, if that is alright with you.

I have only ever found these forums friendly, please think before you let paranoia bring down the tone. An apology would be welcomed but is not necessary.

To be honest It was always going to be a moral tightrope to say....it's against the rules not to have a price...BUT

More than one member knew the rules but they still waded in.

We can't mention the rules one minute because it's something we want then on other sales we do not want, mention the rules again

This was always going to create a fuss and by now because of the amount of interest I bet the newbie seller never to be seen again... is thinking mmmm perhaps I can ask for a lot more?

Showing your hand too early to the one off sellers sometimes is a risk like poker and they may just win

Perhaps ..bearing in mind we generally get on with each other in RB ..the members could help the mods by not encouraging the no price adds with visible replies until the mods have come along and locked it?

Summer and chrimbo always see a large influx of one off sellers who do not read the rules and will always see the mods stretched a bit... so a bit slower to lock the no price adverts

Perhaps by the time you lot have woken up and calmed down the seller would have indeed followed the rules of a price and with some nice pics or indeed the mods will have locked it until they are able to do so

I too can vouch for Daveyla - top bloke who gave me a ride on his Pace... Low post count but RB through and through...

For my two pennarth... yes, going to be desirable and I'm sure the seller has had reminders about forum rules... Members will still be interested in buying though.

Locked, could you pm me when you have a price and want to amend your ad. And a read of the for sale rules is always handy, it gets a bit messy when people don't abide by them.
