Pace RC0471 frame

Retro Newbie
Hi

I brought this frame from new, I think in 1991.

The decals got tired years ago so I removed them.

I always though I owned an RC100 F2 ...?

Now looking at pictured on Google etc I am led to believe it might be an RC200 F1 or F2 ...?

Can anyone advise me, and are replacement stickers available?

Thanks

Hi, basically rc100 was sold as a bike, the rc200f1 was the same frame but sold as frame only. As already mentioned see where it sits on the timeline on the official pace serial number thread. I'm too woolly on difference between f1 and f2.

Decals are available... but not originals. Although if any originals are to be had try justbackdated (on here) - used to work for Pace, and refurbs forks. He bought up the old stock from Pace.

I'm sure another Pace anorak will be along soon (I'm more of an f6-f8 anorak)

I thought all the RC200 all featured the mono stay design, compared to the 100's dual seatstay/ seat tube cluster. Likewise I thought the F1 lost the grease nipples.

Gil_m is your man for decals

Missed this one, lovely bike, looks in great condition, you have a fine example of an F2, as denoted by the cable stay on the rear monostay, the F1 had the brake rocker :)

Fully agree. Frame is same as mine....Defoe an F2
Serial numbers not far apart either mines 0482

F2...

F1 had a welded Seat post clamp as the RC100, on the F2 the clamp was bolted to the frame
