I have now decided to make some room in my collection of bikes so i am getting rid of a few unfinished projects !
I bought this bike off ebay about 4 years ago and have found some NOS parts for it but i have become so busy at work that i just haven't got the time to dedicate to such a worthy project.
I know that a few of the parts are not period correct and feel free to advise me if i get any of the dates wrong on the bike or components.
It came to me in a thick grey powder coat, I quite like the looks of it but it may not be to everyones taste. The cranks and stem are powder coated pillar box red.
There are no cracks or dents at all on this frame, it is in great condition.

FOR SALE : Pace RC 100 s , 19" . circa 1990 / 1991.
SPEC :
Pace RC 100s box section frame 19.5" centre to top of seat collar.
Pace RC 35 carbon fibre suspension fork (Elastomers feel good ).
Pace one piece stem and steerer 110mm, 0" rise & ProBolt titanium binder
Pace Magura Hydraulic brakes front and rear. New alu bolts fitted.
Pace aluminium anti chain suck plate.
Original Renthal aluminium bars & spacer, uncut 23.5".
Selle italia Flite titanium saddle, kevlar corners.
Bullseye cranks 175mm, it mint condition, complete with they little key that stops them dropping off, bearings are ok.
Mavic M231 rims, 32 hole front and rear.
Continental Supercross ( Baja ) tyres NOS 1.9 kevlar.
Grab on 2 foam grips and end plugs. NOS
Suntour : Powershift chainrings, 46, 36, 26, great condition.
XC Pro rear mech, mid cage
XC Pro front mech ( braze on type )
XC Pro GG front hub 32 hole.
XC Pro GG rear hub 32 hole NOS
XC Pro Accushift rear cassette 7spd 12 - 28 NOS
XC Pro Thumbshifters 7spd
XC Pro seat post 27.2 300mm NOS
Chris King 1" no threadset NEW.
Shimano PD-M835 pedals ( bearings need a service )
Brand new stainless steel gear cables and outers.
All aluminium bolts have been replaced with new red ones ( original Venhill bolts will come with the bike).
The things that need to be done to this bike to complete it :
When i was threading the rear hydraulic hose through the cable guides i lost some oil, so now it needs a service, and some new oil but it does work perfectly.
The other thing is when i had the rear wheel built i did not know that Pace RC 100's require a specific dish built into the wheel, so now when it is in the dropouts properly the wheel sits closer to one side of the frame than the other ( a very easy fix )
